What's On #MyConfidenceChecklist
Life’s been so busy, am I righhhht? I haven’t even had the chance to blog between my full-time job, the two dogs, and the Europe trip I’m planning for the month of May (more on that soon!)
If you’ve been following my blog over the past couple of years, you know I try to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle; it’s the only way I can function, really. I’m constantly on the go, so when I feel great, I feel confident.
To me, being healthy and confident means eating well, working out, and making sure I spend the time, effort and money needed on my health now, so I can feel great in the long run. I mean, I like to think I go to great lengths to take care of myself; we’re given one body and I truly think fueling it with good nutrients, breaking a sweat at least a couple of times a week, and getting regular health checks with your doctor and dentist is the best way for me to achieve that.
That being said, I have a confession to make. It ALSO makes me feel super confident when people notice and compliment my smile.
Anyone that spends enough time with me knows that I’m also particularly obsessed with my teeth. So, when the Ontario Dental Association challenged me to create #MyConfidenceChecklist, I knew my smile would be on that list. Also, making that list was WAY harder than I thought. Here’s the others that made it:
- My healthy smile
- Getting through an entire bootcamp class at Totum (Danielle, you kick my butt!)
- Following a brand new recipe and nailing it
- Putting together an outfit and making it werqqq, honey
In honour of Oral Health Month, I’m challenging you guys to check off your dental appointment and show off your healthy pearly whites! Make sure to book an appointment with your dentist today and if you don’t have one, you can find one in your area here. Think about it, you put your teeth through a lot (chewing, smiling, crunching!), so show them some love.
And most importantly, say cheeeeeeeese!
