F*ck pumpkin spice
Pardon my French y'all.
But seriously, what's up with the pumpkin spice everything this time of year? So over it. Instead, I'm sharing with you a drink that I love, but with a twist: Rosé Aperol Spritz.
Here's what you'll need:
- Rosé prosecco
- Soda water
- Ice cubes
Just like the Aperol Spritz, it's a pretty easy drink to make: 2 parts Aperol, 3 parts of prosecco and 1 part soda. If you really want to make this drink pop, you can add rosemary to the Aperol and let it sit in the fridge overnight. I didn't for this particular drink, just adding the rosemary as garnish is enough of an infusion for me.
- Put ice cubes in a wine glass (note: if you're going to be drinking a Spritz, please make sure it's a wine glass)
- Add 2 parts Aperol, 3 parts of the rosé prosecco and 1 part soda
- Finish with a rosemary bunch and voilà
While the Spritz is a pretty summer-y drink, I feel like this version is suitable for fall. Enjoy!
